Nick Park’s New Project ‘Early Man’ Receives First Trailer

Nick Park, the director behind some of the extremely popular Wallace and Gromit series and the goofy and entertaining Chicken Run has a new project in the works titled Early Man, and the first trailer has been released by Aardman Animations, the studio behind the stop-motion used in the Wallace and Gromit films.

Early Man finds us back in the prehistoric time, where cavemen and dinosaurs lived together in almost perfect harmony. Dug, a young boy part of a caveman tribe, loves his life in the Stone Age. Unfortunately, a new threat, named Lord Nooth, brings the Bronze Age to the world, attempting to crush out the Stone Age for good. Dug, with his partner Hognob, must fight Lord Nooth in order to save his tribe.

Dug and Lord Nooth are played by Eddie Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Theory Of Everything) and Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, The Night Manager) respectively. The supporting cast is also quite strong, including Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones, iBoy), Timothy Spall (Secrets & Lies, Sweeney Todd), Richard Ayoade (The Watch, The Boxtrolls), and Mark Williams (Harry Potter Franchise). Early Man will be bringing Park’s common, goofy humor to theaters sometime next year.
