Iconic action movie staple actor Will Smith gives another entertaining performance in the creative new trailer for his film Bright. Known for his work in the Men in Black films, Smith has also recently appeared in movies like Focus, Suicide Squad, and Collateral Beauty. He will also act as the genie in the upcoming live-action Aladdin remake. This time, in Bright, he will be playing the role of police officer. However, the film doesn’t conform too closely to genre standards. Instead, it allows a mythical, enchanted atmosphere involving magic and orcs, the danger of which becomes more and more amplified after a powerful object is stolen.
Smith won’t be acting alone. The film will also feature Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project), Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby), Noomi Rapace (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Lucy Fry (The Darkness), and Veronica Ngo (who will act in the upcoming movie Episode VIII: The Last Jedi). He will also be reteaming with two of his coworkers from Suicide Squad: actor Jay Hernandez (Bad Moms) and director David Ayer (Fury).

The film will reach Netflix before the end of the year, becoming available on December 22nd.
