Universal’s latest upcoming action adventure Pacific Rim Uprising will be coming to a theater March 23 and the studio has just released the latest trailer to give viewers a sneak peak of what to expect.
Pacific Rim Uprising stars John Boyega (from the latest Star Wars Franchise) as the rebellious Jake Pentecost, who is living in the shadow of his legendary father who saved the world from the “monstrous” Kaiju. Now he has given up his training and has adopted a crime life until his sister, Mako Mori (played by Rinko Kikuchi) gives him a second chance to reunite with the generation of pilots who have grown up in war and create a global uprising against the forces of extinction.
Also joined by a rival pilot (Scott Eastwood, Fate of the Furious) and a 15 year old Jaeger hacker Amara (played by newcomer Cailee Spaeny), the heroes soon become the only family Jake has left as they rise up to become the most powerful force to ever walk the earth.
