New Trailer Drops for Disney’s ‘Zootopia’

The latest trailer for Disney’s Zootopia has premiered. The film marks the first Disney Animation Studios offering since the Oscar-winning Big Hero 6 (2014)- Disney release two Pixar animated offerings (Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur) to fulfill their quota for 2015.

Set in the all-animal city of Zootopia, the comedic action-adventure family film centers around Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman, This Is Where I Leave You), a fox with big dreams but ends up on the lam after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. He teams up with Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, He’s Just Not That Into You), a self-righteous rabbit cop, to solve the mystery.

Along with Bateman and Goodwin, the voice talents of Zootopia include Idris Elba (Beasts of No Nation), Jenny Slate (Obvious Child), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Oscar winners J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) and Octavia Spencer (The Help). The film was directed by Byron Howard (Tangled), Rich Moore (Wreck-It Ralph) and Jared Bush and written by Bush and Phil Johnston (The Brothers Grimsby)- Howard and Moore have story by credits. The latest trailer also includes Shakira’s track “Try Everything.”
