Nothing makes us feel supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as Mary Poppins did back in her 1964 film of the same name. Now, over 50 years later, Mary Poppins will be returning to the big screen next year, and a new still has been released for the Disney film, first reported by USA Today. Head over to their site to see the still in all its glory.

As the still suggests, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Emily Blunt will be playing lamplighter Jack and Mary Poppins respectively, with Joel Dawson, Nathanael Saleh, and Pixie Davies playing the new children known as Georgie, John, and Anabel Banks. The Banks family returns in this sequel, with now grown up Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane Banks (Emily Mortimer) living in the Cherry Tree Lane house of before. After Michael is hit with a personal loss, Mary Poppins comes back to save the day with her friend Jack and her odd cousin Topsy (Meryl Streep). Some of the original cast, like Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, will also play a role in the film as other characters.
The film is being directed by Rob Marshall (Chicago) and will feature a script by David Magee (Life of Pi). The film will hope to bring us the same charm as the previous film on December 25, 2018. We are excited to see the new cast and old cast together on the big screen, and we hope for the same success as the previous film.
