New Movie From Yorgos Lanthimos Starring Emma Stone Gets Release Date For Summer 2024

Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos is reuniting with star Emma Stone on new movie entitled Kinds of Kindness. The film is set to be released this coming summer.

Little is known of the upcoming movie’s plot, only that the new film will be a sci-fi anthology. Searchlight, the studio distributing the film, has set a release date for June 21, 2024. Lanthimos wrote the script with creative partner Efthimis Filippou. The pair previously co-wrote The Lobster, Killing of a Sacred Deer, and Dogtooth. 

Stone is joined by Poor Things cast mate Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley in the new movie, and Joe Alwyn from The Favourite is also part of the cast. Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer also star in the film.

Lanthimos and Stone’s last project together, Poor Things, has achieved box office success grossing over $108 million worldwide. The film got an impressive 11 Oscar nominations with Emma Stone winning Best Actress for her role as Bella Baxter in the film. Holly Waddington won for her Costume Design. Poor Things also took home awards for Makeup and Hairstyling and Production Design.
