In the long running series of Tom Cruise trying his best to die on camera, aerial stunts are nothing new. Audiences have seen him hanging from a plane as it takes off, audiences have seen him rappelling down into an secret vault trying not to touch the ground, and now audiences are set to see his most daring stunt yet. To celebrate Tom Cruise’s 60th birthday, long time franchise director and collaborator Christopher McQuarrie released a sneak peek of the newest Mission: Impossible film on Twitter. The still photos appears to show Tom Cruise hanging by finger strength alone on the wings of a spiraling bi-plane.

The still comes from the 8th M:I film Dead Reckoning Part 2, which follows up the actors newest film in a series of box office smash hits Top Gun: Maverick, which despite the films patriotic themes is not at the top of the charts for July 4th weekend. Top Gun: Maverick is still holding well at the box office despite other critical success, such as Minions: The Rise of Gru and Jurassic World: Dominion taking colossal chunks of audience success out of the films previous box office dominance.
