Netflix’s ‘Murder Mystery’ Add Terrence Stamp and Gemma Arterton to Their Extensive Cast

Netflix’s upcoming film, directed by Kyle Newacheck, aptly titled Murder Mystery, has added actors Terrence Stamp, Gemma Arterton, and John Kani to their large and wacky cast.

The script, written by James Venderbilt, centers around New York cop and his wife (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston) who unexpectedly become prime suspects in the murder of an elderly billionaire (Stamp) while on a trip in Europe. Kani will play the best friend of the murder victim, and Arterton will play a character being referred to as “an actress with a secret.”

The film sounds as though it will be a modern-day version of the classic Clue.

Other cast members include Shioli Kutsuna of Deadpool 2, David Williams of Little Britain, Adeel Akhtar of The Big Sick, and many more.

Filming began just this week in Montreal, and the film will be released on Netflix in 2019. This film marks Sandler’s sixth project with Netflix and Aniston’s first project.
