Netflix Releases First Look At ‘The Fifth Wheel’: Kim Kardashian And Nikki Glaser Star In Eva Longoria-Directed Film

Netflix has released a first look at a new film, The Fifth Wheel. Eva Longoria helms the film and stars Kim Kardashian and Nikki Glaser.

The female-driven comedy was written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito and follows a group of high school best friends as they “attempt to reconnect during a weekend haunt to Vegas,” according to the official logline. But when a “hot outsider,” played by Kardashian, crashes their plans, “they’re forced to face their messy lives, bad decisions and unraveling friendships.”

The Fifth Wheel is Longoria’s second feature film in the director’s chair and her first directed feature for Netflix. Longoria previously directed the story of the creation of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Flamin’ Hot back in 2023, which was distributed by Hulu and Disney+. Joining Kardashian and Glaser in the cast are Fortune Feimster, Brenda Song, Jack Whitehall, Casey Wilson, and Scott MacArthur.

Kardashian has recently stepped back into the acting world, with her most recent appearances on TV including her role in the legal drama All’s Fair and her role alongside Emma Roberts in season 12 of American Horror Story. It was also announced back in June of last year that she would also portray villain in a Bratz movie from Amazon MGM. The Fifth Wheel is Kardashian’s first leading film role and her first collaboration with Netflix.

The film is produced by Pell, Kardashian, Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, and Alex Brown for Gloria Sanchez, and Cris Abrego and Longoria’s Hyphenate Media Group. Mary Bundy and David Hyman serve as executive producers. A release date has not been announced yet.
