MTV Movie Awards Premiere Terrifying New Trailer for ‘IT’

The MTV Movie & TV Awards delivered the chills as a terrifying new trailer debuted for IT at the awards ceremony. The much-anticipated upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s horror classic – directed by Mama helmer Andrés Muschietti – offers a fresh take on the story and may provide a singularly creepy turn by Bill Skarsgård, who stars as the infamous killer clown Pennywise.

The synopsis reads: “When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, neighborhood kids band together to square off against Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård), an evil clown whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.”

Scared? IT haunts into theaters on September 8th.
