How many movie stars can there be in a Hollywood production? Judging by the new movie Wes Anderson is working on, a lot. Only yesterday news broke about Scarlett Johansson’s addition to the film that will be shot in Madrid, Spain, and now more Hollywood actors and actresses are joining the cast.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bryan Cranston, Hope Davis, Jeffrey Wright and Liev Schreiber will also accompany Anderson in this new project, which already has Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman, regulars in the director’s filmography, as well as Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks, who had never worked with the Texan.
Although at the moment no details are known about the film, written and directed by Anderson, it is well documented that the cast will be one of the largest the filmmaker has worked with. And, judging by the names it is composed of, it is clear that he hasn’t skimped on stars.
As for the new cast members, this is the first time that Davis, who we last saw in Greenland, has collaborated with Anderson. Cranston, on the other hand, appeared in Isle of Dogs as a voice actor, but this is his first time in front of Anderson’s camera. Wright and Schreiber have worked with the director in The French Dispatch, set for US release on October 22.
