Millennium Media To Begin Production on ‘Till Death’ Starring Megan Fox in Bulgaria

On Thursday, Millennium Media will start production on Till Death starring Megan Fox (Transformers) in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the company’s Nu Boyana film studios.

Australian director S.K. Dale will direct the thriller from a script written by Jason Carvey. The film is a hopeful sign of production gearing up again in Europe as it will be the first U.S. production to film at Nu Boyana since the COVID-19 pandemic halted much of the film industry.

The plot follows Emma, played by Fox, who finds herself caught in the middle of a sick revenge plot and left handcuffed to her dead husband. Unable to free herself, she must find some way to survive as two killers arrive to complete the job and finish her off.

Joining Fox in the film are Eoin Macken, Aml Ameen, Callan Mulvey and Jack Roth. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (Aquaman, The Conjuring) will produce alongside Millennium’s Tanner Mobley, Les Weldon, Yariv Lerner, and Rob Van Norden. Executive producing are Millennium’s Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson, Jeffrey Greenstein, and Jonathan Yunger.

“We are very excited and fortunate to be able to continue doing what we love: making movies,” said Mobley.

In order for a visiting U.S. production to safely begin shooting in accordance with COVID-19 safety procedures, local regulations as well as SAG’s guidelines, Millennium said it worked with the Bulgarian government and its Ministry of Health to create a custom set of protocols for the studio. Some of these measures include mandatory coronavirus testing for cast and crew both prior to and during production and shooting, social distancing on set and the wearing of masks for all behind-the-camera staff.
