Michael Madsen Has Passed Away At Age 67

Michael Madsen has died at age 67 of cardiac arrest earlier this morning. This talented actor was known for many roles, particularly his roles in Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill: Vol. 2. He was a frequent collaborator with Quentin Tarantino and was involved in many of his films.

Madsen accumulated dozens of roles over his more than 40 year career. Some of those included: The Doors, Thelma & Louise, The Hateful Eight, and Donnie Brasco. He was also in video games such as Grand Theft Auto III.

Madsen had an apprenticeship under John Malkovich. He eventually gained some smaller roles in films like War Games and The Natural until his breakout role in Reservoir Dogs, which Roger Ebert praised his performance in that role.

Madsen is survived by four of his children and younger sister Virginia Madsen, an Oscar nominated actress and older sister Cheryl Madsen a professional business woman.

We send our condolences out to the Madsen family.
