People across the globe have been stricken with Keanu Reeves fever. Reeves has always been a beloved actor ever since he played Ted in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Neo in the famous Matrix series, but now, after the smash hit of John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum and the positive press surrounding Cyberpunk 2077, Reeves’ popularity has soared even more. Reeves is also well known for being an extremely polite and kind person, and many fans respect him for his compassion and resilience even after enduring many misfortunes.
People are starting to wonder if major studios will notice this increase in Reeves’ popularity, but it looks like Marvel had already done so long before he gained meme status. Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios confirmed that the studio has been in contact with the actor for a long time now, asking Reeves to join the MCU almost every time a new movie gets made. This included offering him a role in Captain Marvel which Reeves turned down. There’s even been a fan petition calling for Reeves to play Wolverine in the near future. There’s no certainty that Reeves will ever join the MCU, but Feige mentioned in an interview that he might show up if the right role appears.
