Marvel has announced the main cast members and which roles they will play in the new 2020 film The Eternals. Richard Madden will star as Ikaris, Angelina Jolie as Sersi, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry as Faustus, and Don Lee as Gilgamesh. Also starring in the film is Lauren Ridloff, Kumail Nanjiani, and Lia McHugh.

Chloe Zhao will be the director.

The film is the next Marvel film release with a projected release date of  November 6, 2020, and also marks the beginning of MCU’s phase four.

In the comics, the Eternals are an ancient race of powerful, super-human-esque cosmic beings who use their powers to promote a life of peace. They are at war with Deviants, who though genetically similar, have quite the opposite goal of inciting war. They clash inevitably and often, sometimes with humanity in the crossfire.

The Eternals is scheduled for November 6, 2020.
