Fans were impatiently waiting for the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania trailer since Marvel Studios showed the Hall H audience an exclusive teaser at Comic-Con. The teaser showed a bloodied Ant-Man and a threatening Kang the Conqueror. A leaked photo of Paul Rudd as a beat up Ant-Man made the rounds on Twitter and Instagram last month, ramping up the hype.
The wait is finally over and the official trailer Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania has been released, after releasing a micro-sized trailer. It introduces Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror’s first film appearance (he first showed up as “He Who Remains” in Loki), and future Young Avenger Cassie Lang, played by Kathryn Newton. Paul Rudd also returns as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym.
The trailer teases a chilling secret help by Janet van Dyne as she begs them to never go back to the Quantum Realm. It also hosts a oddly fitting song, Elton John’s ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.’ To sum up the trailer based on the song, they “should’ve stayed on the farm, should’ve listened to [Janet van Dyne].”

The trailer was not the only bombshell Marvel dropped around this movie. It looks like The Good Place star William Jackson Harper will appear in the third act of the trilogy in a super-secret role. Marvel declined to comment on his casting.
