Marvel Confirms Five New Films Including ‘Blade,’ ‘Black Panther 2’ and ‘Captain Marvel 2’

At San Diego Comic-Con Marvel confirmed plans for five new films but has not released much information about production or distribution yet. The films that were confirmed were Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Fantastic Four, and Blade.

Oscar winner Mahershala Ali is confirmed to star in the reboot of Blade. This is of note because Ali starred in the Netflix Marvel series Luke Cage, meaning that a crossover of the MCU and The Defenders is less likely.

It looks like quite a lot is on the horizon for Marvel and that they have no intention of slowing down. There is much content to look forward to in the coming years, with both beloved known heroes and new exciting ones.
