Mark Wahlberg Gets Reincarnated in Final Trailer for ‘Infinite’

The final trailer to Antoine Fuqua’s sci-fi thriller Infinite starring Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor was released on Friday by Paramount. Originally theatrical release for Paramount last summer, has now turned into an exclusive streaming release on Paramount+ on June 10, right around the corner.

Todd Stein and Ian Shorr adapted the story from D. Eric Maikranz’ 2009 novel The Reincarnationist Papers.

The story follows Evan McCauley (Wahlberg), a man plagued by recollections of places he has never been and talents he has never learned. He is self-medicated and on the verge of a mental breakdown when he is sought out by a hidden club known as the “Infinites,” who disclose that his memories are real; in fact, they are from several prior lives. With mysteries buried in his past, he must work with the Infinities to uncover the answers in his memories in a race against time to save humanity from one of their own (Ejiofor), who aims to eliminate all life in order to stop what he sees as the cursed, never-ending cycle of reincarnation.

The film also stars Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth), Rupert Friend (Homeland), Liz Carr (The OA), Sophie Cookson (Red Joan), Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), and Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf).
