Luca Guadagnino’s newest feature film, After The Hunt, has officially started filming on location in London, reports Deadline. The film stars A-listers Julia Roberts, Chloë Sevigny, and Ayo Edebiri. Following the success of Guadagnino’s most recent film Challengers, fans are thrilled to see Guadagnino already back in the director’s chair.
Written by Nora Garret (Beirut, The Stalking Fields), the story follows a college professor (Roberts) who finds herself faced with a personal and professional crossroads when a pupil makes a bold accusation against a colleague, with a secret from her past threatening to come to light. Being produced by Imagine Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, the news that production had begun broke through a series of Instagram posts from the cast.
Chloë Sevigny captioned a cast photo with “#backtowork After The Hunt directed by the great Luca Guadagnino,” while Julia Roberts commented “Here we go! Luca!!!!!” in her respective post. Edibiri also shared the cast photo and a screenshot of her texts with the iconic director urging her to post the picture. The post also featured big-name actors such as Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg, Lio Mehiel, Ariyan Kassam, and Will Price.
