Lindsay Lohan Makes Rom-Com Return in Netflix Film ‘Falling For Christmas’ Official Trailer

Lindsay Lohan is making her Rom-Com return with the new movie Falling For Christmas. While Lohan is known for her break-out roles in Mean Girls and Freaky Friday, this is her first Rom-Com in over a decade. Her last movie role was in the 2019 indie horror film Among the Shadows. Lohan has also had recent credits in TV shows Lovestruck High, Devil May Care, and Sick Note.

 Falling For Christmas is a part of a two-film deal with Netflix. We are still unsure about the details of the next film. 

The movie will follow Lohan as a spoiled engaged heiress that is diagnosed with amnesia after a ski accident. Co-star, Chord Overstreet, from Glee, who is playing a blue-collar lodge owner, and his daughter will help nurse her back to health. 

 The film will also star Jack Wagner, George Young, Blythe Howard, Chase Ramsey, and Olivia Perez and this marks director Janeen Damian’s first major directorial role. 

The Christmas Waltz writer and producer co-wrote the screenplay with husband Michael Damian. 

Jeff Bonnett and Ron Oliver, MPCA’s Brad Krevoy, and Riviera Films’ Michael Damian will serve as producers on the film. MPCA has contributed to other Netflix Christmas films, including the A Christmas Prince franchise, Operation Christmas Drop, and A Castle for Christmas.
