Liam Neeson May Join ‘Men in Black’ Spinoff

I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for money, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career of browsing TheHollywoodReporter. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you can confirm that Liam Neeson is joining the Men in Black spinoff movie, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t confirm this, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will make you watch Taken 3 until you beg for mercy.

Ahem. So Liam Neeson is currently in final negotiations to join Sony’s Men in Black spinoff. Neeson would play the head of the Men in Black organization in London, joining Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, who have already been cast as the leads. Iron Man screenwriters Matt Holloway and Art Marcum are penning the script, while F. Gary Gray (Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton) is directing.

Sony currently has the film scheduled for a June 14, 2019, release date. There’s still no word on an official title for the movie, though I’d like to suggest Spin in Black if that’s not already Taken.
