After the recent news that Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day were joining the cast of New Line’s Vacation reboot, it now appears that Leslie Mann will also be coming on board to round out the cast. As reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter, Mann is in talks to play Audrey Griswold, the grown-up daughter of the Griswold parents played by Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo in the original, and sister of Rusty Griswold, to be played by Ed Helms (The Hangover franchise) this time around. In this new reboot, Rusty takes his own family on a vacation like the ones his family used to go on. Hemsworth is playing Mann’s husband, an aspiring newscaster. Mann is of course the real-life wife of director Judd Apatow (This is 40, Knocked Up), and in addition to roles in those films, she has also recently appeared in The Bling Ring and The Other Woman. Production on the new Vacation begins this week in Atlanta.
