Look like the Kissing Booth star Jacob Elordi has a new project lined up. Deadline has reported that Elordi has signed on to be the lead role in the action thriller Parallel for Legendary. Deadline described the film as a grounded sci-fi conceit and an intense love story.
The director behind the multi BAFTA-winning series Misfits, Tom Green, is set to direct the film with BAFTA nominee for The Crimson Petal and the White, Steve Lightfoot writing the script. The film will take place in a world where ‘parallel’ copies of our lives exist, but most are unaware of them, and visiting with them is illegal. Elordi will soon be seen in the upcoming Netflix film Kissing Booth 3 that is expected to hit the streaming service this summer and season 2 of HBO’s Euphoria.
He is also starring in the thriller Deep Water for 20th Century Studios starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas that is expected to be released in 2022. Deep Water follows a wealthy husband who encourages his wife to have affairs in order to avoid getting a divorce becomes the prime suspect in the disappearances of her lovers.
So far, the only cast member set to star in the thriller Parallel is Elordi.
