Spider-Man: Brand New Day is just around the corner, but it looks like more adventures may be on the horizon. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige stated in an interview that he has had conversations about multiple Spider-Man sequels. He stated that he talked with Amy Pascal, producer of the newest Spider-Man films, and they discussed “what the next two, three, four, or five Spider-Man movies might be.”
With the previous Spider-Man “trilogy” wrapping up with Spider-Man: No Way Home, the path is paved for Brand New Day to be the beginning of a brand new trilogy. The film appears to be pulling the character in a new direction, resetting the status quo in a way that feels fresh for the franchise. Peter is done with high school, and with his identity a secret once again, there is plenty of breathing room for future Spider-Man stories. While it is unclear how far these discussions about future films went with Feige, but Spider-Man is one of the most popular superheroes on the planet, so it’s hard to imagine a world without him on the big screen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters in less than 2 weeks on July 31.
