Julian Dennison Becomes Newest Actor to Join ‘Deadpool 2’ Cast

Deadpool 2 is one of the most anticipated superhero films currently ever since Deadpool stunned and enthused audiences across the world with one of the most raucous superhero comedy films of all time. The film has added yet another comedy actor to the cast, with Julian Dennison joining the cast. Ryan Reynolds officially made the announcement via Instagram.

Dennison is most well-known for the being the lead Ricky Baker in Hunt for the Wilderpeople, a New Zealand indie comedy film about a Baker and an old man’s “adventure” in the middle of the New Zealand wilderness. Dennison joins newcomers to the Deadpool franchise Josh Brolin (Sicario, No Country for Old Men), who is playing Cable, and Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), who is playing Domino. T.J. Miller and Morena Baccarin are reprising their roles as Weasel and Vanessa respectively.

David Leitch has taken the reins as director for the film, with his films John Wick and upcoming Atomic Blonde receiving favorable reviews. The screenplay is being written by the Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza, and Drew Goddard are also writers contributing to the film. Deadpool 2 will be dropping f-bombs and exploding into theaters June 1st, 2018, with hopes that the sequel will build on the success of the first film.
