Julia Louis-Dreyfus Joins Mother-Daughter Fairytale ‘Tuesday’ From A24

Described as a “mother-daughter fairytale,” Tuesday is an upcoming A24 film has added Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus to join in on the fun adventure.

Irish actor Lola Petticrew will star in the film as the daughter of Louis-Dreyfus’s character named Tuesday. Petticrew has starred in indie comedies A Bump Along the Way and Dating Amber.

British actor and playwright Arinzé Kene whose starred in films like The Pass, I’m Your Woman, and How to Build a Girl, is also a part of the cast, though in what role is still undetermined.

Daina O. Pusic, award-winning Croatian writer and London-based filmmaker, is directing the feature film, Tuesday, making it her feature directorial debut. She made a name for herself after her short film The Beast debut at the Telluride Film Festival in 2015. Her next short film, Rhonna & Donna, a comedy, premiered at Telluride in 2016 and won several awards.

The plot of Tuesday is still unknown.

Louis-Dreyfus has just come off her Marvel debut in Marvel mini-series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. She has also starred in the comedy Downhill opposite of Will Ferrell and Pixar animated film Onward as Laurel Lightfoot, the mom to Ian and Barley Lightfoot, played by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt.
