Josh Gad and Lupita Nyong’o Will Act in ‘Little Monsters’

Actor Josh Gad (Love and Other Drugs) and Lupita Nyong’o (Queen of Katwewill be sharing the screen in the upcoming movie, Little Monsters. Both stars have already worked for the same company, Disney, with Gad playing the snowman Olaf in the animated children’s film Frozen and Nyong’o playing the fascinating CGI character Maz Kanata in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The film will also feature Alexander England (Alien: Covenant) who seems to be the typical everyman character present in many romantic comedies. While the film begins with a hopeful romantic framing between Nyong’o and England’s characters, it quickly becomes disrupted with a terrifying catastrophe: a zombie apocalypse. Gad’s character will also navigate the chaotic situation with them as well, aiding in their mission to save Nyong’o’s young students. This helps explain the title, as it may refer both to the zombies and the children. As of now, however, the movie is in pre-production.

Until then, both actors have several exciting projects coming up! Nyong’o will be acting in the much-anticipated Marvel film Black Panther. She is also rumored to be reprising her role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Gad will be playing Truman Capote in Party of the Century and starring in the new version of Murder on the Orient Express.
