Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson Say ‘I Do’ in Rom-Com ‘Marry Me’ Trailer

Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson get married at first sight in the official trailer to rom-com Marry Me.

Lopez plays Kat, a music superstar who marries a complete stranger (Owen Wilson) at a concert after discovering that her lover Bastian (played by artist Maluma) is cheating on her. The teaser also depicts the couple falling in love, despite the fact that the arrangement is only intended to last three months.

Kat Coiro (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) directed Marry Me with a script written by John Rogers (The Librarians), Tami Sagher (Inside Amy Schumer), and Harper Dill (The Mindy Project) based on a graphic novel by Bobby Crosby.

Sarah Silverman (Wreck-It Ralph), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), and Jimmy Fallon (The Tonight Show) round out the cast.

Lopez teased fans on Instagram Monday just a few days before the trailer officially dropped with a video of herself performing her new single “On My Way,” with the remark, “Every sorrow was a yellow brick road.” “Pa’ Ti” and “Lonely” are two more songs from the film that Lopez and Maluma recorded together for the soundtrack.

It was first scheduled for Valentine’s Day this year, then shifted to the summer, and then back to Valentine’s Day weekend, but this time in 2022. The film will be released on February 11th.
