Jason Fuchs to Write ‘Luna Park’ for Tom Cruise

According to Variety, scribe Jason Fuchs (Pan) is on board to pen the latest draft of Doug Liman’s  new sci-fi action adventure, Luna Park. Liman previously directed notable films including Swingers (1996), Go (1999) and The Bourne Identity (2002).

Tom Cruise, who teamed with Liman for last year’s box office hit, Edge of Tomorrow (global box office over $350 million) is set to star. The film will revolve around a group of renegade former space employees who need to find their way back to the moon to harvest an energy source.

Quickly becoming highly sought after, Fuchs also wrote the screenplay for Patty Jenkins’ upcoming Wonder Woman which is scheduled for release on June 23. He also contributed to the global hit Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) and Joe Wright’s currently-in-theaters update of the Peter Pan legend with Pan. Also sometime actor, Fuchs shot a role for Damien Chazelle’s upcoming musical comedy La La Land with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.
