It’s official: James Corden will be joining all the lovely ladies of Ocean’s Eight. Corden will play an insurance investigator who grows suspicious of them as they plan their heist.
There are already many strong female leads attached: Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
Little is know about the plot of the film. George Clooney, one of the original cast members, will be producing and also play a supporting role in the film, reprising his role as Danny Ocean. Sandra Bullock, who plays his sister in the film, was referred to by Danny Ocean in previous films.
Corden most recently lent his voice to the animated movie Trolls, as well as co-starred in Into the Woods, Begin Again, and The Lady in the Van. Watch for him next in his upcoming projects: The Emoji Movie and Peter Rabbit, where he’ll play to the title character.
Also look for Corden’s new television series Carpool Karaoke and Drop the Mic.
Oceans Eight is set to be released in June 8, 2018.
