Harry Styles Joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Eros in ‘Eternals’ Post-Credits Scene

This November 5, Marvel Studios is finally bringing Jack Kirby’s cosmic and immortal family to the screen with Eternals, its new big production within the prolific MCU. The film directed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao will feature Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Salma Hayek as aliens who have lived on Earth for over seven thousand years and now decide to come together to defend the planet from old dangers.

On Monday, the film’s stellar cast and crew gathered for its world premiere in Los Angeles, a premiere that was also attended by several critics who haven’t been slow to praise the originality and visual strength of this title. Among those lucky journalists was Matt Donnelly, who works for Variety and has revolutionized the Internet with a possible huge Eternals spoiler.

At the moment, it is not known with certainty if it’s a joke or one of the best kept secrets of the film has actually been revealed.

If the news is confirmed, the singer and actor would have joined the production as Eros (or Starfox), an Eternal created by Mike Friedrich and Jim Starlin. Born on Titan, he is the brother of the mad titan Thanos, and he was a member of the Avengers in the comics and has the power to control others’ emotions.

Let us remember that Thanos is cousins with Thena, the immortal warrior played by Angelina Jolie in Eternals, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable for Eros to appear in Zhao’s movie. As for Harry Styles, he will return to the big screen next year with Don’t Worry Darling, Olivia Wilde’s newest, after making his acting debut in Dunkirk four years ago.
