‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’ Trailer Set to Release Tomorrow

The official trailer for HBO Max’s Harry Potter reunion special premieres tomorrow. Though author J.K. Rowling has received public backlash due to her anti-trans views, the Harry Potter franchise has become more popular than ever. This year’s 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone has incited various Wizarding World-related events, including the trivia show Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, and the release of the new trailer for 2022’s Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, ScreenRant reports.

Perhaps the most exciting event for fans is the original cast of Harry Potter reuniting in HBO Max’s upcoming special. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will see various actors from all eight films sit down and discuss about the franchise’s long-lasting legacy, as well as go behind-the-scenes to revisit how it was made. Most notably, the iconic trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will reunite onscreen for the first time in years.

As announced by HBO Max via Twitter, the official trailer for the Harry Potter special will debut tomorrow on December 15. Check out the official announcement below.

Harry Potter remains one of the most popular and beloved franchises of all time. Rowling will allegedly not appear in the Harry Potter special, though it’s unknown if her recent controversies had anything to do with it.

Many fans are just ecstatic to see their favorite wizards return to the screen. Their presence alone will surely attract a large number of viewers. Be sure to check out the new trailer for more details when it arrives tomorrow!
