Florence Pugh Shares Sneak Peek Of ‘Thunderbolts’ Set

Marvel actress Florence Pugh posted a quick tour on Instagram of the set of the new movie Thunderbolts. Based on some observations from fans, Pugh is reprising her role as Black Widow’s Yelena Belova.

In her video, Pugh coyly admits that she can’t show too much of the set but offers to give sneak peeks. Pugh shows off her Yelena suit, crew members, and sets still under construction. She ends the video by including director Jake Schreier, who jokingly admits he doesn’t “even think [she’s] supposed to be doing this.” She shows off a shot of her as Yelena on a playback monitor while also showing the title Thunderbolts with an asterisk on the back of a crew member’s chair.

With this new teaser out, many Marvel fans are debating what the film will include, especially since the Thunderbolts title has an asterisk. The comics cover an overarching, complex plot revolving around villains, but there are no solid plot details regarding the adaptation. Earlier reports revealed most of the casting, including Steven Yeun, Ayo Edebiri, and Sebastian Stan. However, Yeun and Edebiri stepped away from the project and were replaced by Lewis Pullman and Geraldine Viswanathan.

Since the film’s production was delayed due to last year’s strikes, the film is currently set to release on July 25, 2025.
