First Trailer for Clint Eastwood’s ‘Sully’ Lands

The incredible true story of pilot Chesley Sullenberger’s heroic 2009 landing of a plane on the Hudson River is coming to the big screen with Sully. Clint Eastwood, fresh off the Oscar-winning glory of the 2014 smash American Sniper directs with 2-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks leading the way. The first trailer has arrived.

Based on the biography Higher Duty by Jeffrey Zaslow and Sullenberger himself, and adapted for the screen by Todd Komarnicki (Perfect Stranger), Sully looks to immerse audience in the harrowing moments as Sullenberger attempts to save the 155 passengers aboard that frightful flight. Eastwood has enlisted a top-drawer ensemble cast to support Hanks including Aaron Eckhart (Thank You for Smoking), Sam Huntington (Superman Returns), Breaking Bad alum Anna Gunn and three-time Oscar nominee Laura Linney.
