First Look At ‘Lisa Frankenstein’ Movie

Focus Features has released the first trailer for the upcoming movie Lisa Frankenstein.

The new movie from writer Diablo Cody and director Zelda Williams will hit theaters on February 9th, 2024. Fans of the original Frankenstein: The Modern Prometheus by English author Mary Shelly can only wait to see what the new film will bring to life…literally.

We can only expect great things, especially because of the late Robin Williams’s daughter, Zelda Williams, and Academy Award Winning Diablo Cody. Williams is best known for her work in Were the World Mine and Nickelodeon’s The Legend of Kora. William keeps up with the ever-changing shift in what is considered “cool” with the kids. Cody, best known for her work in Juno and Jennifer’s Body, can be counted on for adding comedy and horror to the film.

The storyline follows a fashionable rebellious teenage girl and her high school crush (a rather good-looking corpse). After meddling with fate, her crush is brought back to life, and the two journey through young love and of course, murder. The film stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest, and Carla Gugino. An intriguing cast that brings impeccable acting skills to the screen.

Focus Features will be issuing the film in the United States with Universal Pictures International handling the international distortion.
