Final ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Is Here and It’s Amazing

It’s finally here. The final and best glimpse at the upcoming seventh chapter in the Star Wars saga – The Force Awakens –  was released tonight during during ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

The final theatrical trailer gives us the best look at all the upcoming characters, focusing the newer ones. From Rey (Daisy Ridley), to Fin (John Boyega), to Poe Dameron (Oscar Issac), they’re stories are explored in the new trailer. Starting with Rey, whose role as scavenger was seen more clearly from the opening scene in the trailer. “Who are you,” she’s asked by an unknown woman, to which she replies, “I’m no one.” We also get a glimpse at the battle between the Resistance and the New Order. Climaxing in the duel between Finn and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Finn and Poe Dameron have similar story entries in the trailer, but the big star of the trailer is Kylo Ren, the new badass Sith Lord.

“Nothing will stand in our way. I will finish, what you started,” says Ren while standing over the melted Darth Vader helmet. The is by far, the best scene in the trailer. This gives credence to the rumors that Ren would be a fanatic of Darth Vader’s legacy, hoping to embark on a similar path.

Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) also have some screen time. And as we previously predicted, it does seem as Disney will keep Luke Skywalker under wraps for the film, unfortunately.

“It’s true, all of it. The Dark Side, the Jedi. They’re real,” reveals Han Solo to an intrigued Rey. From all the movie news that have been released, it’s easy to guess that at some point, Rey and Finn will meet up with Han Solo and Chewy, thus igniting her interest in the past.

BB-8, the Millenium Falcon, and Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) also make appearances in the trailer.

Enough talk, see the trailer for yourselves below. It’s awesome.
