Our very new and re-imagined King Kong looks stronger and more limber than ever in the latest trailer for Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong: Skull Island. Tom Hiddleston‘s hardened Captain James Conrad takes audiences through the long list of dangerous forces on the island threatening the expedition, although what he and the others presumably don’t know is the larger-than-life beast they’ll be disturbing along the way.
Kong: Skull Island follows a team of scientists and soldiers as they travel to a mysterious island for research and discovery. When they stumble upon a world of monstrous animals, particularly Kong, their mission becomes one of survival and mythic war between man and beast.
The film also stars Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson, Thomas Mann, Jason Mitchell, Billy Murray, and John Goodman. With the same production team behind this film as Godzilla, we are surely in for a visual and tonal powerhouse of a film. Kong hits theaters on March 10. See the final trailer below.
