Fear doesn’t run it swims! Watch the Trailer for ‘Crawl’!

Monster movies are a staple of any horror film. From Lake Placid, Anaconda, Piranha and even Jaws, these creatures have provided scares and blood-soaked fun for years. Instead of those flying sharks from Sharknado causing havoc, the alligators are back to terrorize a young woman whose trapped in a storm ravage home during a Category 5 Hurricane while trying to save her father!

That’s the plot for the new horror film from Alexandre Aja (Haute Tension) titled Crawl. The film will star Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner film series), Barry Pepper (The Kennedys) and Ross Anderson (Macbeth). The script is being penned by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen (The Inhabitants). Sam Raimi (Evil Dead) and his production company, Rami Productions along with Ghost House Pictures are producing while Paramount Pictures is handling distribution.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 12th and already looks to be an intense ride! Check out the trailer below!

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
