As stated by The Hollywood Reporter, Sunni Lee will be receiving a documentary for her comeback since she stepped away from gymnastics in 2023. Fantastics Studios is producing the film that has yet to be titled.
She stated, “This is more than a documentary; it’s an invitation to come along for the journey. I know there’s more in me, and this is my chance to challenge myself, test my limits, and see what I’m truly capable of. This isn’t about proving anyone wrong. It’s about showing up for myself and discovering what’s possible. Through the setbacks and the victories, I’m giving myself one more chance to find out what happens when I keep going.”
CEO of Fanatics Studio Michael D. Ratner said, “We created Fanatics Studios to bring fans closer than ever to the most groundbreaking and beloved stories in sports. From our first conversations with Suni, it was immediately clear that there is an amazing story to tell that goes deeper than what fans see in competition.”

The director is Anna Chai (The Story of Food Waste, Living Undocumented). Different executive producers and studios are in the midst from Cookie Jar & A Dream Studios with Rebecca Covington (Keepers of the Game, Summer of 94) and Mark Rooks (Summer of 94); and Fanatic Studios with Kfir Goldberg (5th Quarter, Ride Along), Michael D. Ratner (Child Star, One in a Billion), Raquel Dominguez (Casa Grande, I Wrote This for You) and Scott Ratner (Kym, The Game Plan). Lee, Britt St. George, Kaila McWilliams (Survivor Made, Family Dinner) and Madison Smith (Ms. Match, Frozen in Love) are also set to executive produce.
