The nominations are out for the upcoming Gotham Awards. The film that currently has the most nominations is the latest Ethan Hawke picture, First Reformed. The faith and environmentalist-based drama follows a priest who spirals into despair after counseling a young man depressed by our current environmental upsets. It is up for 3 nominations including Best Actor, Best Feature and Best Screenplay.
The other film receiving notable recognition is Fox Searchlight’s comedy The Favourite, which is nominated for Best Feature.
The 26th Annual Gotham Awards will be held November 26 at Cipriani Wall Street.
