Dwayne Johnson Shares Thoughts on ‘Red Notice’ and Reaction to ‘Black Adam’ Early Cut

Collider reports that Dwayne Johnson spoke in a recent interview about making the large-scale movie Red Notice, which begins streaming on Netflix this Friday. 

As the trailers reveal, the film centers on one of the top FBI profilers, John Hartley (played by Johnson), who is forced to team with the “world’s most famous art thief,” Nolan Booth (Reynolds). They need to track down the world’s most famous art thief, Sarah Black (Gal Gado), aka “The Bishop”. Red Notice is loaded with action, takes audiences around the world, and features some hilarious scenes between Johnson and Reynolds. It’s prospected to be a massive hit for Netflix. The film also stars Chris Diamantopoulos, Ritu Arya, and Vincenzo Amato.

In the interview, Johnson talked about what it feels like to reach the point in his career where he is in high demand to work with on films and he can get just about any film made. He also discussed what it’s really like filming big action scenes like the mine shaft sequence in Red Notice, how director Rawson Marshall Thurber was inspired by Indiana Jones, and more. Collider also reports that Johnson had watched an early cut of director Jaume Collet-Serra’s Black Adam, in which Johnson mentioned his reaction to the film.
