The first trailer for the upcoming thriller drama Dreamland starring Margot Robbie has dropped. A story of a fugitive bank robber during the Great Depression. Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders) stars in the film and plays a young man named Eugene Evans, who dreams of escaping his small Texas town. His regular life changes forever when he meets Robbie’s character, Allison Wells, wounded and on the run. He is torn between claiming the bounty for her capture and helping the seductive fugitive getaway.
The film stars Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Kerry Condon (Rome, Ray Donovan), and Lola Kirke (Gone Girl). The film is directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte (As You Are) from a script by Nicolaas Zwart (Riverdale). Robbie will produce the movie with Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara of Lucky Chap Entertainment and Brain Kavanaugh-Jones and Rian Cahill of Automatik. Brad Feinstein of Romulus Entertainment is producing and financing the film as well.
The film had its world premiere last year at the 2019 Tribeca Film festival on April 28. Vertical Entertainment will release the movie beginning November 13 in more than 100 theaters before the film goes on Premium Video-On-Demand and will be available for purchase on Digital November 17 via Paramount Home Entertainment.
