Deadpool Returns in a Colorful New Teaser

In a new teaser for Deadpool 2, the titular character played by Ryan Reynolds paints pretty picture of the upcoming film, imitating the iconic art guru Bob Ross.

Director of the first smash hit Deadpool film Tim Miller has (somewhat contentiously after behind-the-scenes drama) passed on the reigns to David Leitch (Atomic Blonde), who seems to be having just as much wild fun as his predecessor. Interestingly enough, Leitch has been heavily involved with stunt work throughout Hollywood, contributing to projects like 300, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He has also worked countless times as Brad Pitt’s stuntman in films like Ocean’s Eleven, Troy, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Other new additions include Zazie Beetz (Finding Her) and Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men), who will play well-known comics figures Domino and Cable respectively, as well as Jack Kesy (Baywatch) and Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople).

Deadpool 2 will also feature returning members Brianna Hildebrand (First Girl I Ever Loved), Leslie Uggams (The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks), T.J. Miller (How to Train Your Dragon), Karan Soni (Ghostbusters), Stefan Kapicic (Big Miracle), and Morena Baccarin (Firefly).

And don’t worry, the teaser still offers plenty of material for the film. It can be watched below.

Deadpool 2 will arrive in theaters just in time for the summer blockbuster season on June 1, 2018.
