Oscar-award winning actor Daniel Radcliffe is set to play the villain in Aaron and Adam Nee’s upcoming Paramount romantic action adventure comedy The Lost City Of D. He will be joining an already star-studded cast including Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Patti Harrison and Dolemite breakout star Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Bullock will be producing the film through Fortis Films with Liza Chasin and her company 3Dot Productions. Seth Gordon is also attached to produce with Exhibit A.
According to Deadline, the film tells the story of an isolated romance novelist (Bullock), who believing nothing could go worse in her life than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model (Tatum) until a kidnapping attempt brings them both into a dangerous adventure, “…proving life can be so much stranger, and more romantic, than any of her paperback fictions”.
Radcliffe is repped by ARG and Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson. Since leaving his Harry Potter days behind, he has stayed busy in film and television, such as the dark comedy Swiss Army Man and most recently, Escape from Pretoria. He also stars alongside Steve Buscemi in his TBS comedy Miracle Workers, which was recently renewed for a third season. His most recent film role was in Saban Films Guns Akimbo.
