Comic-Con: New ‘Doctor Strange’ Trailer and Poster Revealed

Check out the new Doctor Strange poster which debuted at Comic-Con:

Fans at Comic-Con were also treated to a new trailer for the Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer. The trailer sees The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) introducing Doctor Stephen Strange to the mystic arts following the neurosurgeon’s terrible car accident. She tells the doctor, “we harness energy and shape reality.” The trailer sees the doctor progress in his learning from newbie to confident Sorcerer Supreme, swinging his cape over his shoulder with flair. The trailer also shows Mads Mikkelsen in his villainous role as Kaecilius warning “I am Death and Pain.” Check out the new trailer below:

The Marvel film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor (Triple 9), Rachel McAdams (Spotlight), and Benedict Wong (The Martian). All of the principle members of the ensemble cast, as well as director Scott Derrickson, were on hand for the Doctor Strange presentation in Hall H which included a more extensive look at scenes in the upcoming film. Included was an expansive sequence between Cumberbatch and Swinton.

Doctor Strange opens on November 4th.
