Chin Han Joins Cast of Action Film ‘Skyscraper’

We will be receiving a Die Hard-like film titled Skyscraper next year that just added Chin Han to its beefy cast, according to Deadline. Han is well known for his roles in many different action films, including The Dark Knight, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and most recently Ghost in the Shell. Han’s role is currently unknown.

Skyscraper follows the story of a FBI hostage rescue commander and war veteran, played by Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson (Baywatch, Moana), who has been forced into being a security adviser on various skyscrapers. After traveling to China and working on the largest, but supposedly “safest,” skyscraper, the building bursts into flames and is blamed on the adviser. Johnson’s character must discover who is the actual culprit while avoiding the authorities. He must also save his family, who appear to be trapped in the towering inferno.

Johnson and Han are joined by Pablo Schreiber (The Manchurian Candidate, 13 Hours) and Neve Campbell (Scream, House of Cards) on the action-loaded film. The film is being directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who has directed Dodgeball and recently worked with Johnson on Central Intelligence. Production is set to begin in August, with a July 13, 2018 theatrical release.
