Heroes come is many shapes in forms. Some wears masks, other wear capes and others, well look just like your average person walking on the street. From the people who brought us Mandy and Color out of Space comes another unique vision in Archenemy. His name is Max Fist, a superhero from another dimension yet his powers don’t work when on planet Earth. He spends his days drinking and ends up encountering a young man whose life is in danger when he’s marked for death. Will Max Fist save him? I’ll guess we’ll have to wait and see.
The film stars Joe Manganiello as the man with no powers- Max Fist. The supporting cast includes Skylan Brooks, Zolee Griggs, Paul Scheer, Smy Seimetz and Glenn Howerton. Adam Egypt Mortimer (Daniel Isn’t Real) directs and co-writes the story along with Lucas Passmore. SpectreVision is producing while RLJE Films is distributing. The film had its world premiere at Beyond Fest today, October 7 and is featured to play at the Stiges Film Festival. Archenemy is scheduled to be released on December 11 2020.
