M. Night Syamalan has had an interesting experience as a big name Hollywood producer, and director. Very early in his career he was praised by audiences for directing The Sixth Sense giving Shyamalan the reputation of the master of the plot twist. Unfortunately he lost this praise after taking on projects like The Last Airbender and Lady in the Water which were generally disliked by critics and audiences. His story isn’t over though as his last release The Visit was seen as a sign that Shyamalan might still have it in him.
Now we have a trailer for Split, a hair raising story about three teenage girls who are abducted by Kevin played by James McAvoy.
The trailer shows off what could potentially be James McAvoy’s creepiest role yet as his portrayal of a mentally unstable, split personality sufferer.
Come January 2017, we will see the movie that could put Shyamalan back on the map, and creep audiences right out of their seats.
