After premiering at the SXSW Festival, the trailer for the highly anticipated Rooster Teeth movie Lazer Team is finally available for viewing. The creators, who have created a wealth of online content over the years, such as Red vs. Blue and RWBY, broke records last year on Lazer Team‘s Indigogo page. Now, it’s all coming together, as four not-so-heroic men are recruited by the government to fight aliens using their own tech against them.
Lazer Team was directed by one of Rooster Teeth’s founders, Matt Hullum (probably best known as the voice of Sarge from Red vs. Blue). The movie stars Alan Ritchson (Gloss from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Alexandria DeBerry, Burnie Burns (another Rooster Teeth founder and Red vs. Blue star), Gavin Free, Irina Voronira, Michael Jones, Colton Dunn and many others.

Though the trailer was released during the SXSW film festival, there doesn’t appear to be a set release date for theaters, but it is set to be distributed this year by Fullscreen Films.
