Check Out the New Trailer for ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’

A new trailer has been released for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, the latest film from Tim Burton, master of quirky and peculiar fantasy films. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs, the story follows an “ordinary” boy Jacob, who comes across Miss Peregrine’s home for children who have inherited peculiar powers. He finds he has a special gift after all, as he was born to protect the children.

The latest teaser gives viewers a better look at the villain leader of the Hollows, who hunt down the children for their magical powers. Samuel L. Jackson’s Barron, a new character created for the film, intones threateningly “we are coming.” Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Secret Service) penned the script.

Eva Green (Casino Royale) stars as Miss Peregrine, with Asa Butterfield (Ender’s Game) as Jacob. Ella Purnell (Maleficent), Allison Janney (Finding Dory), Oscar-winning actress Dame Judi Dench (Philomena), Chris O’Dowd (The Program) and Terence Stamp (Big Eyes) are among the cast.

The film bows on September 30th. Check out the new trailer below:
